Questions about the market
Everything people ask before coming down to Christchurch's covered Sunday food market.

- Where do I park?
- There is free street parking on Sandyford Street, Cass Street and the surrounding blocks. Walking, biking and scooting in works even better.

- Is Sydenham Markets a night market?
- It is a Sunday market that runs from late morning into the evening, so it suits anyone looking for an evening food market in Christchurch. It is a separate market, run by its own local team, and is not connected to the Christchurch Night Market.
- What else is at the Sydenham Underpass?
- The underpass has permanent food tenants of its own, including Grumpy's, Gussy's, Papa's, Kung Fu Dumplings, Rollicious and Two Bros Tacos, which are usually open on market days.
- How do I get a stall?
- Food trucks and market stalls can apply through our vendor form. We curate each market for variety, so not every application gets a spot, but we read every one and get back to you. Apply to trade.
